  1. I tried to fill out medi-cal application on the dpss website.

    It’s Not letting me thru.

    What am I doing wrong?

    • What part of this is confusing? Would you please let us know, so that we can improve our website for you and other visitors.

If you are trying to enroll in Medi-Cal, see the page above for the link to Medi-Cal Los Angeles County website. https://yourbenefits.laclrs.org/ybn/Index.html

Yes, I know Covered CA advertises about being the one stop shop, but they don’t pay agents to help Medi Cal recipients. At two of the recent trainings where they had a speaker from Medi Cal, the speaker said that the best way to apply was using THEIR enrollment website, which if you visit mine above, the link to Medi-Cal’s is there.

My quote engine doesn’t really do Medi-Cal. It may give you quotes, for the coverage, without any subsidies. If you did qualify for Covered CA, the application is done separately, not though the quote engine.

  2. I applied last week for Medi-Cal through Covered CA.

I made both daughter a doctors appointment for them to get their vaccines on the 24th.

The receptionist said their medi-cal still isn’t active.

Is there anything I can do to speed up the process or so I just wait?

  3. I’ve been trying to find an address to mail in our completed Medi-Cal Annual Redetermination Form (MC210) but cannot locate that address. We live in Los Angeles (city) in California. Hopefully I can get a quick response as the deadline is fast approaching!

  4. My purse was stolen and my cards for me and my son were in my purse how do I go about on getting a replacement benefits ID card

    • Q: My Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card was lost or stolen. How do I get a new one?

A: If the EBT card is lost or stolen, it is the cardholder’s responsibility to call the EBT Customer Service Center at (877) 328-9677 to report the problem as soon as possible. A person’s account can only be used with a valid EBT card and Personal Identification Number (PIN). Any transaction conducted with a valid card and PIN is the client’s responsibility, even if the transaction was done without the client’s permission or knowledge. That is why it is very important to protect the secrecy of the PIN.

Once the matter is reported, the EBT card will be deactivated so the benefits cannot be used by anyone else.

You will also have to contact your county worker to have your EBT card replaced. Copied from
